Classy Feature Ideas for Your Kitchen

by Roni Agress 06/30/2019

One of the ways to make your kitchen look great is to furnish it with high-quality and luxury features. Apart from giving your kitchen a classy look, it also reflects your personality as someone who is trendy and organized. Add a classic touch to your kitchen with these top tips that are meant to bring elegance:

Crown Molding

Crown molding can bridge the gap between the ceiling and your wall cabinet. It makes the transition easy. In traditional kitchens, one single touch of detail can complete the design.

Matching Ends

You can decide to go with matching panels for your cabinet instead of a flush skin. They have a furniture-like look just like decorative legs. This type of design is perfect for the Mediterranean and traditional spaces. A matching end can come in two ways – it can come integrated into the cabinet, or it comes separately. When installing your matching ends, make sure there is enough room. Depending on the manufacturers, the thickness of the panel can be up to 3/4 inch.

Decorative Legs

There are several styles of table legs; some of these include mission style, chunky style, and others. Regardless of the form, they always catch the attention of guests and visitors to your home. Therefore, incorporate them into your cabinet or place them at on the island for a real furniture feel. Generally, legs with detailing are perfect for rustic as well as traditional designs. For a modern and contemporary design, simple and straightforward legs are perfect.

A splash of Color

For kitchen cabinets, neutrals remain the ideal hues to use. Therefore, a stroke of blue or green is an excellent choice. The result is a bright and bold design with a perfect spice. In contemporary designs, neutrals are also excellent.

Mixed door styles

If you like two cabinet door styles, you can go for them both. Complementary looks can improve the overall look of your kitchen while a single look gives an appealing traditional design. An excellent way to enhance your kitchen appearance is by introducing a mix of shaker-style cabinet and modern slab door fronts.

Creative storage spaces

You have options that are better than the cookie-cutter storage. One of the ways to give your cabinet a classic touch is by going for a custom wine rack drawer. There are several options you can choose; these options are tray dividers for baking sheets, spice rack drawers, and peg pull out for utensils.

Corbels

There are plain, ornate and oversized corbels. No matter the type, corbels add traditional elegance to both kitchen and island cabinets. Want to know the best kitchen makeover for a new sale? Talk to your real estate agent about the upgrades that will increase the property value.
