Although you will need to be aware of your surroundings and do not participate in anything that is of a personal nature or sensitive information that would put you at risk such as identify theft. That being said, you can while waiting in a doctor's office schedule any number of online items. Tasks such as ordering take out to pick up later, or an oil change appointment. Maybe setting up coffee with a friend via text or reminding your teen to be home on time with a Snap. All these side chores can pick away at your never-ending to-do list and perhaps gain you some downtime at the end of your day to relax.
